It was a very special day up northern Babeldoab as Ngarchelong leaders- the Assembly, Rubekul Ngarchelong and Public Land Authority tour Ngarkeklau sustainable development project with Ebiil. Ngerkeklau Island is a nesting habitat for Hawksbill and Green Turtles, as well as the Palau Megapode (bekai). The natural state of the island was restored to serve as a location for environmental education and low-impact sustainable tourism. For more information, contact Ann Singeo at 855-2676.
