Ngarchelong, Ngaraard & Melekeok Students in Outdoor Classroom

On August 11th, 2022, Ngarchelong, Ngaraard, & Melekeok 5th graders participated in Outdoor Classroom activities with Ebiil Society. They learned about forest ecology, wildfire science, and also medicinal plants along the trail to visit Taki ra Ongimii at Ngardmau State. We thank the students and their teachers, Jeanie Dismas, Sandy Mengloi, and Scotty Rechucher for helping us give back to Mother Earth and helping restore Palau’s native island forests.

Although from different schools, at the end of the day, they are all Palauan children and they understand the value of restoring their island of Belau’s forests.
