Outrigger Canoe Carving Study Begins

January 3, 2019 marked the launch of the Ebiil Outrigger Canoe Carving Study.

The Canoe (Kaeb) Carving with Sesario Sewralur is a project to rebuild the knowledge of traditional outrigger canoe carving, and will be completed by March 2019, on time for Outdoor Classroom Training on Navigation and Ebiil Summer Camps.

The carving is taking place at the Ebiil Natural Science Training Center at Ollei, Ngarchelong and is open to the public. If you are interested in participating / observing the process, please call us @855-2676 for dates and times.
